First guild blog, OH SHIT SON.
So lets start things off with the guild happenings. Were chugging along to rank 12 soon. Some pretty cool guild rewards come in the next few levels- notably Keep claiming (14) and the ability to show our guild heraldry on our cloaks (15). There is the incentive to keep leveling! So keep it up. We have gotten some pretty cool people in the past few weeks, those being Scattastic and Saerlo. Having our own personal engi to run with in T4 is going to be SWEET, and Saer is gunning for 40 asap, so soon well have a third healer running with us! Pretty cool. We have a few classes that still need to be filled. Namely, we need us a dedicated slayer, and I would like to see another tank. So keep your eyes peeled from some good players in those classes. We are trying to stick to being a small guild, but we do need some gaps filled.
Moving on to somethings that I have been thinking about... We have for the most part only come together for premade Scenario groups, but I think we should get some guild events going regularly. We are trying to establish a pretty tight group, and I think we would all benefit from playing together in other elements of the game. I am thinking that another guild ORvR night is in the making, more then likely in Tier 3 since the majority of us can play there, and we can probably do the most amount of damage there. Also on the horizon is going to be a guild alt night. Many of us have played one character pretty hardcore over the past month or so, and sometimes we need a break from our mains, but we still want to play with the guild. So my thought is maybe twice a month, we can all play an alt together. Not only will it give us more exposure to other classes, but it will also give the guild some nice xp. Remember how fast we ripped through ranks when we all were in t2 together? Yeah. Id like that again. Be checking the forums and the guild calendar in the coming days for info on both of these.
Another thing that would be cool for the guild is in the Land of the Dead. LotD was met with some mixed reviews, I personally think that it has some really cool things in it. Mainly- the mechanic of once you lose access to the realm, you port out on death. I think it would be quite fun that when we all hit late 30s, and 40 that we run a little premade gank squad in the Land of the Dead. I have seen some destro groups causing some problems when they lost control, and I have seen the order players reporting movements and converging on the area only to find it empty. I think conducting a hit and run war in the desert would be epic. I am going to spend some time in the Land of the Dead learning the area, I would suggest if you are interesting in doing this to explore and learn as well.
There ya go, my mumbling and grumblings about shit. See ya next week.
